Swedish FMV ordered 20 "group boats" (Watercat M9) from Finnish Marine Alutech Oy Ab for amphibious battalions. These vessels, costing ~SEK 130M, replace boats donated to Ukraine. They transport 8 personnel + 2 crew or cargo, offer improved capabilities, and will be delivered by 2028.
